Saturday/Sunday

We had a relatively quite weekend.

I wrote about our Friday night here.

Saturday we were in the My Waterloo Days Parade with the Jaycees since this is their 80th year in Waterloo. It was pretty humid but Kinley did good. I rode on the float while Jason walked with some other guys and pushed Kinley in the stroller. Then we went to lunch with some friends and came home for nap time. Kinley is still taking about a two hour nap after lunch which meant nap time for Jason and I also! Once she woke up we headed to Menards to buy some flowers for my pots, I will have to post pictures later because they are not blooming right now so they look kind of dead. Once we got home Jason grilled pork chops for dinner then we had play time with Kinley then she was off to bed and we went to work in the yard. I mowed why Jason ran the weed-eater then we potted my plants and changed the soil in the house plants. We were tired and thirsty after all that hard work so we enjoyed sitting on the back porch with a beer.

Sunday we went to church, ran a couple of errand then home for lunch and nap time. We played sand volleyball with the Jaycees and the other team didn't show up so we won all three games! We are now 6-3!

It was a fairly relaxing weekend and we got to spend a lot of time with just the three of us so that was nice!

I will leave you with a couple of my favorite pictures from this weekend

Kinley got two tea sets for her birthday. I had put them in her room thinking I would bring them out in a couple weeks when the other new toys she got for her birthday were getting "old" to her, well my plans changed on Sunday morning. I got out of the shower to find this:
Yep, that is Daddy and Kinley having a tea party!

During the summer our church has our service outside (which is great when you have kids!) so what better idea so we have then to bring our tea set to church! Kinley had a tea party and enjoyed eating her snack out of her tea cup!

I hope you all had a great weekend and Monday!
