Rewards

One thing I found to be the most successful tool for me the last time I did WW when I was in grad school was rewards. I would reward myself with getting my nails done, pedicures, shopping trips and other various things. The ultimate reward I had set for myself was to get my bellybutton pierced when I had lost 20 pounds. I had wanted my bellybutton pierced since I was in college but I was always too chicken and I never thought I had the body to have that type of piercing. So I made a deal with myself if I could lose 20 pounds I felt that by getting my bellybutton pierced it would help motivate me to keep losing weight. I reached my goal in March of 2007 and my wonderful friend Emily went with my to get my piercing before Sonny's Thursday night class! I loved the pierce and it made me feel so proud of how far I had come! Knowing that rewards worked the last time I have also set up some rewards for myself this time:


*11 (5%)- Pedicure

15- Snow storm from 4 Queens

*21 (10%)- Spray Tan

25- $10 iTunes giftcard

*32 (1/2 way!)- 60 minute massage


35-New outfit



40- Date night with Jason


45- Something for my workout (watch, cloths, or shoes)


50- US Weekly magazine subscription for a year (guilty pleasure!)


55- Vera Bradley bag


60- Golf lessons


*65- Weekend Trip with Jason!

These are all thing I really want so hopefully it will help me to stay motivated!
